PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AS PRACTITIONAL ARCHITECT/INTERIOR DESIGNER/CONSULTANT
1993 -currently Owner and partner of Integrated Design Center (IDC) which is a prominent company in the Egyptian market with a wide scope of work in Design & Construction specializing in several fields.
Scope of work & Experience included two major fields:
(A) Contracting Works:
1- Architectural designs:-
This covers a range of:
Residential units (Villas / apartments/Residential Buildings).
Office spaces/buildings.
Commercial spaces/factories & plants.
2- Interior Decoration Designs:-
This covers range of:
Residential units (Villas / apartments/Residential Buildings.
Office spaces/buildings.
Commercial spaces/factories & plants.
IDC also offers complete interior drawings & concepts, design themes, color schemes, bill of quantities, tender documents, etc. for all the above listed.
This includes general contracting works including all concrete works, structural works and all required civil works.
The contracting business executes works designed by IDC or other consultancy offices.
(B)Finishing Works:
This covers the execution of all interior finishing works in all levels including:
- wood works. - marble works. - glass works. -curtains &etc.
designed by ourselves or others.
Shown here below is a brief of the major office spaces, commercial spaces & private residential apartments executed by the company:
1- Price WaterHouse:
The Cairo Office tower in the head quarters of North Africa and it is a 6-story building (Maadi). It's now merged with Copper to become Copper Price WaterHouse.
Scope of work: Complete internal civil works for the building as well as furnishing the whole office space.
2- CARGILL Limited:
This is the Egyptian head quarter office (Maadi). The Cairo wheat and cereal stock trading bureau and dealer, also representative for the Middle East and North Africa region. (1200 m2)
Scope of work: Partitions & Furnishings.
3- Microsoft Egypt:
This is the representative office space of the mother company of the United States here in Egypt and this is their regional representative head quarter office for the Middle East.
Scope of work: Complete civil works, flooring, ceilings, electromechanical works, wet areas, etc. As well as furnishing the whole office space.
4- AGFA International:
This is the office space of the Middle East and North Africa agent and representatives (Down Town & Zamalek). (PLS note we have executed several of the regional offices for this company)
WE also executed commercial retail space outlets for the same company over several parts of Cairo.
Scope of work: Complete civil works for all their projects, all electromechanical works, furnishing, etc.
5- BAHNA Engineering:
this is the head quarter for an Egyptian - British company for the supply and installation of rail-way tracks and electrical power engines (Zamalek).
Scope of work: All civil works as well as all electromechanical works, furnishing works.
6- AL-Ahram Book Shop:
Works in the main building as well as its major sales outlets
Semiramis Intercontinental Hotel.
Ramsis Hilton Cairo Annex.
Sheraton Annex.
7- National Bank of Egypt:
Renovation works in the main head quarter of the bank in down town, as well we had supplied & installed a set of 48 skylights for the public civilians area.
All skylights imported by the sister company MBA.
8- PURATOS EGYPT Industrial Food Products:
This is daughter of PURATOS (Belgium). This is:
1- Factory's area of 2800 m2 as well as the administrative area (400 m2) in Badr City.
2- Cairo Office established on 160 m2.
9- Police Academy:
Supply & installation of space frames as well as skylights covering the main reception lobby on a area of 280 m2. Products imported from Italy and supplied by the sister company MBA.
10- MisrPhone (CLICK) Head Quarter - ALKAN:
Supply & installation of fire rated steel doors & frames as well as door hardware.
